IID was founded in 1990 as a 100% affiliated company of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., and turned fully independent through Management Buy-Out (MBO) in 2001. In 2005, IID joined IRI (Internet Research Institute) Group by capital and service affiliation to further strengthen the internet research area.

Currently, IID is assisting the clientsf management decisions by providing comprehensive research and consulting services through marketing research, design management, and usability evaluations for wide industry areas such as automotive, IT, entertainment, and consumer goods.
